Miss Addy has only praise for the GMS Eco Warriors – 46 registered members already, with a good number of them attending the weekly meetings. She says, “I couldn’t be more pleased.” The Green Flag is within reach.
More plans are in the pipeline: discussions and advice are being sought on how to manage the separation of litter; how to expand the biodiversity project, beyond the bee hotels already located about the school grounds; how to forward the aims of the gardening group; and how to improve the pond area.

The ‘Glitter Pickers’ are amazing volunteers who pick litter up during break to clear the school site of unsightly rubbish. Could there be a Great GMS Tidy Up? The idea is to involve as many people as possible in making the site litter and rubbish free, perhaps one day after school.
The GMS Eco-Warriors have excellent momentum and that has made a huge difference.
To all involved a huge thank you.
