This year over 50 students had taken part in the Junior Maths Challenge from Year 7 and Year 8. Students put themselves forward and are always enthusiastic about stretching their capabilities in the subject.
We have had a fantastic set of results this year (results below).
A special mention must go to Noah Codron and Zeph Fulton from Year 8, not only did they achieve the Gold Award putting them in the top 7% of the UK but had also scored highly enough to qualify into the next round which will take place on Tuesday 11th June.
To put this achievement in context around 300,00 students take part in the Junior Challenge per year but only 1200 score high enough to qualify for the next round.
Overall a big congratulations to all our students for their achievement.
