As part of the Year 6 Transition day, Great Marlow School were able to provide all of our new student cohort with a reading book to keep!
Now in it’s third year, the GMS 7th R (Reading) commits itself to providing ample opportunities to promote reading for pleasure.
Generously funded by FoGMS, the chosen book is Relic Hamilton: Genie Hunter by Joseph Coelho. This novel seeks to stop evil genies who wreak havoc. There is a reason why they are imprisoned in lamps.
All of the Year 6 students have been asked to read the first twelve chapters during the summer holidays. The remainder of the story will be read during form time on our return to school in September.
