On Tuesday 10th March, the ‘Biggest Ever Football Day’ took place in GMS.
Every girl took part either playing, coaching, being a statistician or as an official.
It was a fantastic day, with a great sporting attitude shown from every participant. Every girl earned points for their House. The results are as follows:
First Hawks with 47 points
Second Kites 41 points
Third Eagles 38 points.
The PE teachers are delighted at the positive response to this challenge. They write, “Thank you to everyone who came out to support the event and helped make the day such a success. It was fantastic to see so many students taking part, showing great teamwork, enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the day. It was clear that the students really enjoyed the opportunity to become involved in football and represent their House.”
GMS sends a huge thank you to all the PE staff and other teachers, who helped make the event the memorable success it undoubtedly was. Well done to everyone.
