We wish every Muslim a blessed Eid al-Adha. This is the second of the two main Islamic festivals, celebrated on the 10th day of the last month of the Islamic lunar calendar.
The festival marks the culmination of the Hajj pilgrimage and is observed by Muslims worldwide with communal prayers, gathering with friends, family, and cooking lots of delicious food which is then shared with family as well as those in need. Muslims will also give money to charity or to people in need of it most before Eid al-Adha.
Muslims celebrate Eid ul-Adha on the last day of the Hajj. The Hajj is pilgrimage to Makkah in Saudi Arabia. It occurs every year and around 2 million Muslims from all over the world visit Makkah for Hajj.
Eid Mubarak from GMS.
