The Marlow Santa’s Fun Run is an annual event and attracts many community members who join this pre-Christmas event to raise money for charity.
The organisers say, “It is a fun run for all ages, children, adults and the not so young. Run it, walk it, push it, but do have FUN.”
As it was open to all ages it meant there were approximately 3,000 runners on 7th December.
A GMS student, Leo Bray, won the Santa Fun Run. His family report he did so despite battling with a cold for two weeks prior to the event that impacted his training. His final time was 16:46.
Congratulations Leo, we’re very proud of you at GMS.
