House Music Competition Results

On Wednesday 11th February 2026 the annual House Competition took place. Great Marlow School came alive with the sound of music as students took to the stage for this year’s much-anticipated House Music Competition. The event showcased an incredible range of musical talent from across all year groups, with students performing to a packed hall of peers, staff and proud supporters.

The standard of performance was exceptionally high, reflecting the dedication, rehearsal time and teamwork demonstrated by all involved. Judges Mr Williams, Miss Russell, Mrs Green, Mr Pightling, Mrs Ben Haj Ali, Mrs Bennett,  Mr Hollyman and Mr Yasin were so impressed by the quality of the performances.

The House points were calculated by giving an achievement point to every student who entered and an extra achievement point to the students who won in a particular category. House results were as follows:

Huge congratulations go to all of our individual winners and performers. Every student who took part should be incredibly proud of their contribution in such a fantastic event. Following careful deliberation by our panel of judges, the results were announced as follows and we celebrate every name recorded here:

Every student demonstrated tremendous courage and professionalism in performing in front of their peers and judges. The competition highlighted not only individual musical excellence but also the power of teamwork and creativity within our House system.

The event celebrated musical enthusiasm in GMS, the performing students shared their passion for music, creating a wonderful experience for everyone who were privileged to be there.
