Mr Murison, Director of Rowing, and his team have organised a Year 7 Inter-House competition of ergo relay races.
The Inter-House competition begins the week commencing Monday 2nd February and continues on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in break 2, in the dance studio.
Year 7 students who are keen to take part should speak to their form tutor; four friends are required for make up each crew.
During the first few weeks, the focus will be on identifying the fastest crews within each House. Following this, the competition will progress to a series of “play-offs,” where the top crews from each House will race against one another.
The main aim of the competition is to give as many students as possible the chance to experience rowing in a fun, energetic environment, accompanied by plenty of excitement and noise!
To take part, the Year 7s simply need to register their interest with their form tutor with the names of their crew members.
Exact timings and weekly results will be shared via form tutors.
This House competition promises to be a great deal of fun and very successful.
