School Open Friday 12th June

Published 9 June, 2026

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,

We are pleased to confirm that Great Marlow School will be fully open and operational for all students on Friday 12th June 2026.

We would like to reassure you that, following thorough testing and in collaboration with cybersecurity specialists, no threat was identified on any of the school’s systems. We can confirm that the situation has been fully investigated and resolved.

All students should attend school as normal.

  • Registration will take place at the usual time.
  • All lessons will run according to the normal school timetable.
  • Students should bring their usual equipment and be prepared for a full day of learning.
  • Year 11 and Year 13 external examinations will continue as scheduled, in line with published examination timetables.
  • Year 10 and Year 12 mock examinations will continue as scheduled, in line with published mock examination timetables.

Parents and carers of Year 10 and Year 12 students can disregard the alternative arrangements communicated in our earlier correspondence, as normal school attendance and examination arrangements will now apply.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your patience, understanding and support during this challenging period. I recognise the significant disruption this incident has caused to students’ learning, family routines and work arrangements.

The safety, security and wellbeing of our students, staff and wider school community remain our highest priority.

We look forward to welcoming all students back tomorrow.

Kind regards,

Guy Pendlebury
Headteacher
