The English Department are promoting the enjoyable skill of writing poetry through a poetry competition organised by Chiltern Arts.
The theme of the competition is ‘Journeys’, which offers a huge scope and will generate a wealth of ideas. It could be a personal journey, a physical journey, or an imaginary journey: indeed, whatever the word conjures up.
The closing date is 28th February, which gives time for the poems to be written, discussed and revised.
The organisers say, “We can’t wait to read your poetry!”
