On Friday 20th June, over one-hundred members of the Year 13 cohort at Great Marlow School gathered at Hazlemere Golf Club to celebrate the end of the A-level examinations and to say farewell to staff and friends.
The members of the Prom Committee are praised for organising such a fantastic event. Tilly Hanson and Charlotte Haddock were instrumental in booking the venue, organising the DJ, security, food, entertainment, photobooth and decorations for the whole night.
As the students arrived, they were treated to a red-carpet style welcome. Members of the Sixth Form Team and invited staff guests posed for photos. The staff all commented on how delightful the students were throughout the evening and how great it was to catch up on their latest next-step plans.
Monty Todd stole the show by arriving in a Delorean car from Back To The Future!
The students spent the evening dancing, singing, laughing and spending time with their friends in, what is likely to be, the last time they will all be in the same space together. The students were, rightly, full of excitement and happiness that their exams were over and were definitely looking forward to enjoying the extended summer break.
The Sixth Form Team wish to thank the wonderful Year 13 cohort for their positivity, diligence, focus and kindness throughout their KS5 journey.
