On Wednesday 18th June, Year 12 students visited Oxford Brookes University for the UK University Fair, as part of their higher education enrichment programme.
During the very warm day, I was able to visit student ambassador stands for the universities that I am interested in, and ask questions about my potential courses. There were also stands for the armed forces and apprenticeships.
I had the opportunity to attend a seminar on Higher and Degree Apprenticeships, as well as UCAS Personal Statements, which I found very useful.
The day was a great opportunity to have a walk around a campus university to get a feel for what this might be like for me in the future.
GMS thanks the member of the Sixth Form for writing this for the website, it gives an insight into the benefits of visits such as these.
