Mental Health Support

We all go through times when we feel worried, confused or down. But when it starts to feel difficult to do everyday things it could mean we have a problem with our mental health.

Mental health is as important as physical health. Positive mental health enables a student to realise his or her own potential. GMS is committed to providing a safe and stable environment where students feel supported whether affected directly and indirectly by mental ill health. Below are some useful links for anyone experiencing mental health issues.

To help support the Mental Health of our young people, Great Marlow has teamed up with the Bucks Mental Health Support Team (MHST).

MHST supports young people who have emotional wellbeing difficulties, including anxiety and low mood, confidence and self-esteem issues. They provide evidence based therapeutic support both individually and in groups to young people and parents. Below we have included MHST PowerPoint sessions held at GMS as well as other useful resources to support mental awareness in young people.
