Champion Taylor Paul Year 11 – Midland U16 Golf

Taylor began his 6th year as a Stoke Park Scholar and because of his commitment to the sport and his
excellent conduct he was appointed junior captain, an honour in itself.

The season began in a great way with Taylor becoming the Buckinghamshire Schools Champion, shooting -3 at the Buckingham Golf Club, Milton Keynes.

Over Easter, Taylor travelled to Hawkstone Park, Shrewsbury to take part in the Midland U16 Championship. He was in a tie for first place approaching the end of the final day. He did not allow the tension to overcome him, though, keeping composed while remaining determined, he went on to win the tournament by 4 shots to secure his second win this year as Midland U16 champion.

Following his successes this year, Taylor is fortunate to be taking part in the Euro Pro Tour at Harleyford Golf Club in May half term. This will be a fantastic opportunity for Taylor to experience and play with competitors in the next level up.
