Snowsports Trip 2026

Published 16 April, 2026

Mrs L Brassington and her team are full of praise for the students who were the Snowsports Trip 2026 to Austria. She writes, “We genuinely all had a fantastic time … we were so proud of how [they] behaved representing themselves, you and the school in the most lovely and positive way. They were all hugely resilient on the slopes with the IBT Tour Rep commenting that this was one of the best school groups she had worked with because of how focused and calm the students all were when skiing.”

The trip takes a considerable amount of time to organise and execute, with staff members supervising the students throughout their time away. GMS is grateful to every member of staff who facilitated the execution of the ski holiday and went on the trip itself.

The trip began on Friday 27th March, when students arrived to GMS ready to travel to Heathrow airport for the flight to Munich. From Munich the students travelled by coach to their hotel in Eben. Students began their skiing experience on Saturday, and were all able to safely navigate blue, red and even some black runs by the end of the trip which returned to the UK on April 2nd.
