Phenomenal Performance: 45-10 WIN

Great Marlow School’s Year 8 Rugby Team produced a phenomenal performance on the rugby pitch against local rivals, Sir William Borlase, on the 6th November. All of the team’s work, commitment and endeavour in every training session came to fruition with a marvellous 45-10 win.

The front foot rugby played by a determined and aggressive GMS team was far too much for the local grammar school to match. With rhythm building, it was not long before GMS were controlling the play, going through the phases, before passing the ball out to space where the well drilled pacey backs ran the tries home. The level of organisation, commitment, self and team motivation was superb! Every single player put in the performance of the season to earn a life time of ‘bragging rights’ resulting from this emphatic win.
