The Chair of FoGMS writes, “What an incredible result!
Thanks to the amazing generosity of our local community, businesses, parents and supporters, the Friends of Great Marlow School Auction has now closed, having raised an incredible £4,200.
Every bid, every donation, every share and every bit of encouragement has helped make this possible. We are so grateful to everyone who donated prizes, took part in the auction, shared our posts or supported us behind the scenes.
The money raised will go directly towards projects that benefit Great Marlow School students, supporting different departments, teachers and initiatives across the school.
After such a fantastic response, we are delighted to say we will be running another FoGMS auction during the 2026/27 school year.
We are already starting to collect donations, so if you are a local business, know someone who would like to support the school, or have something you would like to donate, we would love to hear from you at fogmsdonate@gmail.com. Donations can be made at any time throughout the year, helping us build an even bigger and better auction.
Most of our prizes have already found their way to their lucky winners and we are working hard to deliver the remaining few.
Thank you once again to everyone who helped make our very first FoGMS auction such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we are already looking forward to the next one!”
