GMS Selected for Inter-Regional Finals

Yet another weekend of great results for  the Great Marlow School Boat Club, GMSBC  have had two crews selected to represent the Upper Thames Region in the National Finals in April.  The Year 10 Girls Four comprising of  Emily Paul, Rianne Neal, Holly Barnes , Holly Hammond and Thomassen Holiday will compete.  The Year 10 the Boys Four are Ross Honey, Dan Magnussen, James Wheal, Edward Nunn and Alex Green. Both won their trials on Saturday leading to them being selected as regional representative crews.  While this was a major coup for both crews, what was even more  impressive is that they  beat all the Year 11 crews as well, including  a powerful Marlow Rowing Club girls’ crew and an exceptionally strong J16 boys’ crew from St Edwards Oxford.
