Green Heart: Litter Free
Great news of this week is that GMS has earned the prestigious Green Sticker to show our school has pride in its appearance. There has been a continued and committed drive to keeping the school site clean, tidy and litter free. Marlow Wombles, the group the Eco-Warriors work alongside, awarded the sticker.
Much of the work falls to the Eco Warriors and they are recognised as amazingly committed. However, the cleanliness of the site falls to everyone, there are plenty of bins for our rubbish to be deposed of – so a plea goes out to everyone to ‘do their part’.
The Green Heart symbolises that organisations have chosen to take care of both outside and inside their properties. When you next walk down Marlow High Street, look for those stores that have pledged to take part in the scheme. Think about how Great Marlow shows off its participation in the scheme.
Let’s be proud of our school and its surroundings.
