Dates from FoGMS

FoGMS has released some important dates for our GMS community to put in the diary.

• On Wednesday 28th June from 8.15 to 9 am: Year 11 End of Year Uniform Donation drop at Bobmore Lane entrance. This is a chance for Year 11 parents and carers to donate their child’s uniform to GMS for resale, which fundraises for the school. Of course, other donations from other years are hugely welcome.

 

• On Tuesday 11th July 8.15 to 9.15 am: Bag2School Donation drop at Bobmore and Redgrave entrances. This is a chance to clear out old shoes, clothes, bags and raise money for the school. You may use your own bags. Please no toys, brick a brack or cushions. 

 

• On Tuesday 11th & Wednesday 12th July Summer Showcase doors open at 18.30. An evening of performance in the school hall by the
  Drama Department and FoGMS will be running a bar.

 

• On Tuesday 18th July: Summer Music Concert: an outside evening event hosted by the Music Department, where FoGMS will be running a bar.Looking ahead, the current FoGMS Chair and Secretary are standing down in September after 3 years in post, therefore, FoGMS are currently seeking new officers to take up these positions alongside new Committee Members.
