This Sunday over 500 crews competed at the Olympic lake at Dorney in one of the first rowing events of 2014. Great Marlow School took a large squad of 20 crews to take part. Having largely been off the water so far this year due to flooding at the home base, the crews were expecting to struggle against clubs that have had better access to water time.
As it happened, results showed that GMSBC is still very much on track for a strong season, with particularly good results from the younger crews. The following crews all came in the top three in their event.
