Super-Success:Our Day Out

The hard work and commitment of the cast and staff led to a super-successful drama production of Our Day Out by Willy Russell.

A coach, built by Mr Shea, was made stage ready by Miss Pearce, Miss Busescu and Mr A Pendlebury. This coach became the centre piece of the thrust stage.

Meanwhile, Mr Ross prepared the actors in weekly sessions. He was amazed at how dedicated the students were in learning their lines and learning how to deliver them to give the greatest impact.

The four performances were absolutely incredible. Audience members were ‘bowled over’. GMS staff delighted. Students flushed with success are still riding a wave of euphoria.

GMS is proud to have such talented students and staff in the school, all of whom are willing to go the extra mile to give an experience of delivering a drama production of such high quality. Thank you to everyone involved.
