A repeat of a great sporting occasion is happening in GMS on Tuesday 24th September. A visiting school, St Bede’s, from Buenos Aires, is participating in four sporting fixture events: rugby, football, hockey and softball.
Before the fixtures take place at 2pm, the Argentinians are welcomed to the school, have a tour and attend some Sixth Form lessons.
To round off the day, a grand fish and chip supper is eaten in the canteen, for approximately 160 people.
We wish all the teams involved a great sporting experience. Our fabulous school sporting facilities are the perfect place for such an event to take place.
