To provide an opportunity for parents and carers to ask questions and seek further information regarding the expedition section of the Duke of Edinburgh, there will be a short information evening on Thursday 1st May, in the PE classrooms in the Redgrave Sports Centre starting at 6pm. (Previously, this post stated the location would be in the school hall.)
During this information session, Mr Goodright will talk about behavioural expectations for the two days; the itinerary for the students; emergency procedures, plus other logistical information; finally, how individual student needs are met. In addition to this, there will be an opportunity to ask questions related to both the practice and qualifying weekends.
Attendance is not mandatory, but GMS likes to provide face-to-face meetings like this to facilitate an opportunity to establish if any further information is required.
