House Colours Day

Published 13 October, 2026

On Thursday 22nd October 2026, Great Marlow School Houses are holding its first HOUSE COLOURS DAY.

Students and staff are invited to take part in this non-uniform day by wearing as many items as possible in their house colour.

Every student, every member of staff is encouraged to brighten the school day with colour.

Ideas of what to wear:

  • clothing (tops, trousers, skirts, dresses, jumpers, cardigans) in their House colour
  • shoes (trainers, sandals, boots) in their House colour
  • accessories (glasses, headwear such as hats or headbands) in their House colour

Please note that football shirts and face paint is not to be worn.

During the day, each House will meet to have their House Photograph taken. The Leadership Team will then judge which house has the best representation of their House colour.

WEAR YOUR COLOURS.
SUPPORT YOUR HOUSE.
WIN THE EVENT!

Let us bring colour to GMS on 22nd October 2026.

Thank you to the House Leaders for organising this.
