House Music Competition

Published 9 March, 2025

GMS is delighted to showcase many photographs from the spring term successful House Music Competition in the Flickr library. Please see the link below.

Students excelled in a variety of categories, as soloists or in an ensemble, using a variety of instruments.

Their performances were brilliantly enhanced by the fantastic work of the sound and lighting team: spotlights and different lighting for each performer gave them a unique spotlight.

Every House benefited from the talented musicians in their cohort, it was very much a team event with successes being celebrated by all. Students performed in categories and performances judged within those categories. Winners are celebrated below.

The Music Department and GMS thanks all members of staff who were involved in making this event the huge success that it became. The judges had a rewarding, yet challenging, task on deciding the winners.
