Our school congratulates Bronze medallist, Ralphy Weaver-Poole, who represented Great Marlow at The British Schools Championships 2025, over the weekend.
The competition took place at The England Institute of Sport in Sheffield and Ralphy was enrolled in the Pre-cadet U60 kg category for his year group.
His proud mother says, “He fought like a true warrior and showed resilience. After losing his first fight, he went into battle and won the next five fights and winning well deserved Bronze medal.”
Over the weekend of 1st & 2nd March 2025, Ralphy and his older brother Frankie (past student at GMS) medalled at the Ingulmunster International Judo Championships in Belgium. Both Ralphy and Frankie were awarded Bronze Medals, with Ralphy fighting the U15yr category for u60kgs.
