Match funding is an easy and beneficial way to raise funds for the school.
Many companies operate Match Funding schemes where they match the amount their employees raise for charity. This means your participation in our fundraising events could be
worth double! For example, if we raise £1,000 at an event, and you work for a company that
offers match funding, they could donate an additional £1,000, effectively doubling the total
funds raised. It’s a great way to maximise your impact.
Here’s another example closer to home:
Imagine FoGMS raises £500, if one of their volunteers works for a company that offers match funding, that employer could double every pound we raise, effectively turning the £500 into £1,000 for the school.
This extra funding helps provide more resources, enhances facilities and create more enriching experiences for our children – all at no extra cost to you.
How Can You Become Involved?
- Check if your employer offers match funding. If you work for one of the
companies listed below, great! If not, ask your HR or Finance team if they offer a
match funding scheme. Many companies have budgets allocated specifically for
charitable contributions and actively support employee charity giving. - If your employer agrees to match the funds, simply let us know, and we’ll work with you to ensure the donation is processed and matched correctly.
- Bingo Night – we’d love to find a parent or carer whose employer could match fund
the bar at the forthcoming Bingo Night on Friday 14th March. If that could be you,
please get in touch!

We know that the following companies have match funding schemes, but this list isn’t
