Neighbourly Care

Published 24 October, 2024

GMS is built in a residential area, which becomes very congested at drop-off and pick-up times.

The school kindly requests that we all consider the residents who live nearby and not block their driveways or make it difficult for them to manoeuvre in and out. Likewise, do not block the school entrances.

Also, we must be mindful of the students who are trying to cross the roads, which are made ‘tricky to navigate’ with all the congested traffic.

We continually remind our students of the importance of road safety, emphasising the need to cross at appropriate points. To help with this, we ask parents and carers to respect any signage that may be in place relating to parking restrictions and speed limits.

At 3.10, the coaches leave the Redgrave Sports Centre (RSC). Parents and carers are invited to collect their children from there after 3.10: this would alleviate some of the parking concerns raised by local residents and also make it safer for our students along a very congested Bobmore Lane.
