Non-Uniform Day for One Can Trust

Published 16 December, 2024

GMS has supported a local charity, One Can Trust for a few years, now. They offer essential help to families finding it challenging to pay for essentials.

On Friday 20th December, the last day of term, the school has designated as a Non-Uniform Day. We ask the students to bring in vital items that One Can Trust know are in demand.

One Can will have already organised and distributed many of their Christmas packages by this date, so this collection will be to re-build their stocks for January, so please can the different year groups try and provide items in line with the list below:

Year 7 → Dry food and cans of fruit
Year 8 → Toiletries and baby products, such as soap or toothpaste
Year 9 → Canned food, sauces and snacks
Year 10 → Cereals, grains, pasta, rice and other carbohydrates

Sixth Form → Long life products and puddings

Thank you so much to everyone who helps GMS support this very important charity.
