Published 17 August, 2026

Enrolment Day for Internal Candidates ONLY

Thursday 20th August 9am – 3pm (pre-booked appointments only via school cloud SchoolCloud – Great Marlow School )
We are unable to enrol any external students on this day. Please see below.

How to enrol:

When arriving at the main gates on the morning of Thursday 20th August, please follow the signage to the 6th Form Centre. Here, you will find the member of staff you have booked an enrolment appointment with. Please visit the link above to make an appointment until Tuesday 18th August. Should you have any difficulties, please contact ajones@gms.bucks.sch.uk

For a quick enrolment, it is essential that all grade entry criteria are met. Please refer to our 6th Form Prospectus to ensure that you have all the relevant information about entry requirements.

However, should you very narrowly miss the grade requirement for a subject, we will explore how close you were to the next grade boundary and seek advice from the Head of Department. Whilst we are still unable to guarantee a place on any course, it will help to ensure that our discussions and potential decisions are accurate.

Enrolment Day for External Students 2026

Friday 21st August 9am – 3pm – no appointment necessary

How to enrol:

If you attain the required entry grades for the courses at GMS and you wish to join GMS Sixth Form, we invite you to attend our enrolment day on Friday 21st August. When arriving at the main gates, there will be signage to direct you to the 6th Form Centre.
No appointment is required, but depending on the number of applicants on the day, please be prepared to wait.

Please refer to our 6th Form Prospectus to ensure that you have all the relevant information about entry requirements. For a quick enrolment, it is essential that all grade entry criteria are met.

Please bring a paper copy of your exam results and a form of photo ID. We will not be able to enrol you fully if you do not provide this documentation. If you successfully gain a place, you will also be required to complete an online admissions form to finalise enrolment, and should allow at least 30 minutes for this to be completed.

Year 11 GMS students will have enrolment priority on courses. In previous years, capacity has been an issue for the more popular subjects such as Law, Psychology and Business Studies. It is important, therefore, to reiterate that attainment of the required grades, for each course, will give you a far better chance of being enrolled onto the courses that you want.

However, should you very narrowly miss the grade requirement for a subject, we ask that you bring evidence from your school or exam board of how close you were to the next grade boundary. Whilst we are still unable to guarantee a place on any course, it will help ensure our discussions and potential decisions are accurate.

Year 12 Option Blocks 2026

Please note, candidates may only select one subject from three different vertical columns.
Candidates may combine BTEC subjects with A-level subjects, but the T-level Childcare course is a standalone course and may not be combined with other subjects.
