Great Marlow School Celebrates Sports Colours Awards
On Friday 16th October, students in Years 9, 10 and 13 were recognised for their outstanding contributions to sport at Great Marlow School, as they were awarded their Junior, Half and Senior Sports Colours.
Sports Colours are awarded to students who consistently demonstrate outstanding commitment, organisation, responsibility and resilience in their sporting endeavours. Recipients have shown exemplary personal performances and a consistently respectful attitude, both when representing the school in sporting competitions and during PE lessons.
The awards recognise students’ dedication to GMS sport throughout their time at the school:
- Junior Sports Colours: Awarded for commitment to GMS sport in Years 7 and 8.
- Half Sports Colours: Awarded for commitment to GMS sport in Years 9 and 10.
- Full Sports Colours: Awarded for commitment to GMS sport in Years 11 and 12.

All students receiving an award should be extremely proud of their achievements. Their dedication, positive attitudes and commitment to sport are a credit to both themselves and Great Marlow School.
Congratulations to all our Sports Colours recipients!
