At Great Marlow we are dedicated to supporting budding entrepreneurs and drive enterprise as a whole school initiative. Ms Broadbent is holding a week long Young Enterprise selling event, which includes groups of students from Years 7 to12 promoting their businesses to the whole school.
This selling event will be held from Monday 10th February until Friday 14th February in the School Hall from 8.00- 8.30 am to all staff and Sixth Form, followed by all students in their form time. This will enable students the opportunity to view all the amazing items on sale and purchase from the stalls.
Our Young Enterprise students are offering many different items including pet bowls, customised pet treat jars, pet Valentine’s cards, upcycled clothes, hand made accessories, hair scrunches, tote bags, 3D fidget toys, keyrings, hand made bracelets much more.
Students are advised to bring up to £5 cash (ideally coins) if they wish to buy anything.
To help ensure that students have adequate time to browse and purchase we have allocated each year group a specific day, which will hopefully help to ensure they are aware of when they will need to bring in any cash.
Monday: Year 7
Tuesdays Year 8s
Wednesday Year 9s
Thursdays Year 10s
Friday Year 11s
GMS is hoping this event will help to showcase the vast entrepreneurial talent the school has and also raise awareness of enterprise to all students.
GMS thanks everyone for their ongoing support, to Ms Broadbent for facilitating this event and the students for being part of Young Enterprise.
