The Christmas holiday season is upon us, and the Music Department is in full swing preparing for a series of exciting events to celebrate. There is planned an array of carol concerts, community performances and a much-anticipated Christmas Spectacular; there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Below is a summary of the schedule.
Love Rowing Fundraising Carol Concert – Saturday 29th November at 4.30pm
The Love Rowing Carol Concert is a fantastic opportunity to support a great cause while enjoying beautiful music performed by GMS choirs.
Carol Concert at All Saints Church – Tuesday 2nd December at 7pm
GMS’s choir ensembles, alongside the Brass Band, will fill the magnificent All Saints Church in Marlow with the sound of traditional and modern carols. This serene and uplifting event is not to be missed. It is followed by a communal mulled wine and mince pies gathering.
Late Night Shopping in Marlow – Thursday 4th December at 6.30pm
The joyous holiday spirit is evoked by GMS’s Jazz and Rock Band musicians as they perform during the Late Night Shopping event in Marlow. Go along to enjoy festive tunes while picking up some Christmas gifts!
Lantern Church Carol Centre – Sunday 7th December at 6pm
The fabulous Brass Band entertains at the Lantern Church Carol Service. There is always a warm and welcoming atmosphere filled with festive cheer at this event.
Spectacular School Christmas Concert – Wednesday 17th December at 7pm
The Christmas season concludes with the Spectacular School Christmas Concert, where all ensembles perform. This grand event showcases the incredible talent and hard work of the music students and promises to be the highlight of the year.
