Director of Learning Year 7
Mr S Taylor will be the Director of Learning (DoL) for Year 7 in the 2026/27 academic year.
Mr Taylor has a wealth of experience and understands that transitioning from primary to secondary school is both exciting and a little daunting for all concerned.
On transition day and over the next academic year, he is looking forward to learning all about his Year 7 cohort.
He is excited about guiding them through the first year of their learning journey in GMS.

The newly published handbook gives the most important information to ensure our Year 7 cohort settles in successfully. The Home School Partnership document is important too, because experience has shown that a successful joint working partnership leads to much better outcomes for all students.
