After a very long day of presenting, being interviewed by judges, and competing against five other Sixth Form teams at the Regional Young Enterprise Award event, GMS’s two wonderful Year 10 Young Enterprise teams made Great Marlow School and themselves very proud by achieving the following awards:
- Manufacturing Award Category
Third Place was achieved by Team Phoenix with a £100 prize.
- Best Corporate Image Category
Second Place was achieved by Paw Print Studio with a cash prize awarded.
- Financial Management Category
Second Place awarded to Team Phoenix with a cash prize.
- Marketing Special Recognition
Hertford Partners the sponsors awarded this special award to Team Phoenix and Paw Print Studio.
- Environmental Award Category
Third Place for Team Phoenix with a £100 prize.
Ms Broadbent says, ‘Both teams acted professionally and maturely, and are extremely pleased with their results. Thank you to all the staff who have supported the teams and Young Enterprise this year.’
