GCSE Results 2025

Published 21 August, 2025

At Great Marlow School, we are once again delighted with the fantastic results achieved by our Year 11 students in their GCSE examinations. They should all be incredibly proud of their efforts over the last two years as they prepare for the next stage of their lives with many returning to Great Marlow School for courses in the Sixth Form.

Vanessa Bennett, Assistant Headteacher and Acting Director of Learning for Year 11, said, ‘It gives me immense pleasure, and a huge sense of pride, to see the fruition of the students’ endeavours and resilience throughout their KS4 studies. This was a fabulous year group with a collectively outstanding attitude to learning. This has meant that most students have realised their potential and the high personal goals they set themselves. It was wonderful to see so many happy students receive their results this morning and I would like to wish them all the best with the next stage of their journey’.

Guy Pendlebury, Headteacher, said, ‘As a school we are incredibly proud of our Year 11 students, who have attained such a fabulous set of results. A quite exceptional year group who had ambition from the start; their resourcefulness and resilience have resulted in this set of outstanding results.

In addition, we would like to take this opportunity to thank staff at the school for their endeavours but also the parents and carers of the cohort for their consistent support of their children and the school community’.
