The Great Marlow School Boat Club ( GMSBC) run an indoor rowing league for Year 7s each year. It is a fun, noisy, exhilarating set of relay races, held over the course of a few weeks.
It is so much more fun if many students enrol.
The details of the competition have been delivered in form time and the first races are due to take place next Tuesday 28th January.
We encourage parents and carers to talk to their child about joining in. If your son/daughter would like to get involved all they need to do is talk to their form tutor to set up a team and the tutor can enter them. Teams should be of 4 or 5 rowers and preferably from the same form but can be from the same House.
This is the first chance for the students to become involved in rowing. It will be followed by rowing sessions in the summer term; more information about that, from the Great Marlow School Boat Club, after Easter.
