The school were delighted to record the successes at the English Schools Track and Field Cup.
This week, more GMS records were bettered at the District Athletics Championships. All of the records shown below are impressive in their own right, but the PE Department wish particular recognition go to Jack, who broke a record that has stood for 45 years.
- Holly K – Year 9: High Jump – 1.40m

- Riley Y – Year 9: 100m in 11.31s
- (Previous record Kyle K 11.72 in 2021)
- Riley Y – Year 9: 200m in 23.56s
- (Previous record Conlan O’C 24.7s in 2024)
- Jack M – Year 10 Javelin – 52.20m
- (Previous record C Searis 48.33m in 1981)
