Successful Music Recital

On Wednesday 16th October, students from all years were involved in performing a recital to parents, carers and teachers. The audience were treated to a variety of items including solo performances, from both members of the GCSE groups and KS3 students.

Performances from the school choir band, musical theatre group and African drumming formed a central role in the evening.  The programme finished with Year 7 singing ‘Wonderwall’, which was supported by a (very loud) especially formed school band. It was incredibly exciting to showcase the musical talent that GMS pupils have in abundance.

The concert has raised money for the department, which will go towards instruments for the students, and supporting students in educational trips.

GMS thanks everyone who attended, donated and took part to make the event so successful.
